activity : coracle boat ride. view amazing waterfall.
Cost per boat : you can negotiate a lot. but we paid 800 both the time for whole boat. Otherwise you can buy ticket that will cost you 120 each person but that will carry 6 person in a boat.

Decent one, clean rooms, clean bathroom, free breakfast and all besic facility. Worth whatever they are costing

Cottage : we booked 2 bedroom cottage. Can be maintained better. But location and view was good.

My sister completed her BE and currently at my home in bangalore since 22nd July. She is enjoying her life, sitting at home and reading newspaper and books.

13th August : "Rakshabandha" is one of the unique festival in india which do not require any pooja. This is to celebrate sweet relation between brother and sister.
                  Since the time i came to know that my brother is coming in Rakhi, I decided to celebrate this rakhi in some different way. I didn't want to sit at home and tie rakhi in the same way I had been doing all these years. and this was long weekend. So my husband i decided to make a trip to Hogenakkal and Munnar. I decided to tie Rakhi on the water and in the boat.
So we started pretty late form home at 10 AM(decided to leave by 7.30 AM) and reached Hogenalkkal at 3 PM. This was my second trip to hogenakkal, but everything was new and different because water level was pretty high. we enjoyed a lot. Coracle boat riding,  having packed food on the boat, taking bath in the river, gol-gol-chakri everything was full of fin. Tying rakhi in the boat is be memorable moment for me. After hogenakkal we decided to stay in Selam city. We started for munnar next day after having buffet breakfast provided which includes idly sambhar, bread toast, uthappam. fresh fruit juice.

Munnar :
There were breath taking tea states on the way. we stopped at multiple places to cover them but believe me no camera can cover such beauty. it is so pleasant for eyes to see well structured tea states on all over mountains.  We reached to our resort igloo resorts by 4 PM. Our cottage was the last cottage and having scene from the balcony. we ordered tea and started playing cards in the balcony.
We played cards till late night.  we ordered food in room. we enjoyed good view, good cottage, good food and relaxed rest of the day.

Next day was pretty much same as earlier one. It was raining and weather was awesome, we played card almost all day. But in the evening I got frustrated from the cards and demanded to go outside. we had a small round of Munnar city, though were not able to see anything except clouds. :D we came back with some shopping and relaxed rest of the day with good tea and delicious dinner. we also played some games in the garden and park. enjoyed phisal-patti. :)

Last day we woke up by 10 AM and covered one more waterfall on the way back to bangalore. Again we stopped at multiple places for clicking pics. Over all i can say it was real holiday were people come to relax in good weather.

Nandi hills : Trekking path

If you have been to Nandi Hills then you must be knowing that one can drive till the hill top. Then why trekking??? This trekking path will offer you completely different view which is not available from the top of Nandi Hills. The trek starts from backside of the paved road. The trek is very well carved stepped path. Throughout the trek is green and scenic. If you are not used to steps then you might find it hectic, take rest in between. This is best trekking path if you are beginner or with kids. My 8 year son completed the trek without getting tired.
