Dates of travel : 26-28 Jan 2013
Food : Home made food. very limited options. 1 Veg-1 non veg starter, 1 veg and 1 non veg gravy, sambar, rice and chapatti. All have a bit of south indian flavour but food is really tasty and have very good home made flavour. we liked food a lot.

I wanted to have a good trip before i start my office full time, but we could not have it, as everybody was quite concern about Tatva. So on our 5th wedding anniversary we decided to celebrate it out of station, and The Last Resort was perfect option for what we were looking for.

River
Day 1 : We started from home around 10.30 AM. That was the best I could manage with Tatva. :D. I forgot to download the route and there is no network connection so after struggling a bit we managed to reach resort by 3 PM.

As name mentioned this is last house in that road and situated in very good location. The place is inside the coffee plantation and river, elephant camp is at walkable distance. The path till river is also beautiful and panoramic . After having food, we decided to spend rest of the time in the resort and river. Tatva was amazed with the river as this was his first encounter with continuous flowing water.

Day 2 : Dubare Elephent camp - Last time I missed baby elephant bathing so this time I was very excited for this activity. The resort of very close to elephant camp and one can walk as well it is 1.5 km from the resort, But if you want to go by car it is little long route. Here Tatva did his first ride to a boat and it went pretty well. It is funny that once you have baby you start counting everything which happen to him first time and how it went. ;)
In Dubare elephant camp you can do following activity :

1. Elephant bathing
2. Elephant feeding
3. boating
4. Elephant ride

If you want to enjoy a relaxing weekend in nature's lap, and not having many activities in mind this can be a good option. But here we have very young man, tired after his first vacation. :)
