I heard about Chhota ladakh from few friends. When I googled it, the first look was pretty attractive and the place was just 40-50 from Bengaluru. So we made made impromptu plan for Chhota Ladakh. Definitely it was not the kind of place I was expecting.  

First of all it is not even 300 mt from the road. you can just park your car and walk around 200 mt you will reach there. I saw some people even parked on the spot as well. 

Second, the whole area is very very small. if there are 20 people you can not avoid them in the pictures. 

Third, No place/rock is good enough to sit and there is nothing to do. This area is generally hot and there are no trees or shade available. I find this place dirty as well, many used bottles, cups, plates all around. One can not spend more than 30 minutes at this place. 

My feedback about this place is - "Don't fall for good pictures. This is not the place to spend good time."

If you are looking for some place to do photoshoot, then this might be good place. While coming back we saw one couple for pre-wedding shoot. This might be a good place for photoshoot activity. 

So since it was photogenic place we did take pictures. They came out to be beautiful, as said earlier - don't trust pictures. 😁


Kids can find their enjoyment anywhere

Scenic Scandinavia: Our tryst with Aurora Borealis (a.k.a. Nandi hills : Trekking path

Nandi hills : Trekking path Place : Nandi Hills Distance from Bangalore : Around 60 km Trip type : Day trip/Half day trip Day of travel : 3rd August trekking length/Duration : Approx 4 km (to and fro). 1-1.5 hour If you are staying in Bengaluru then you must have been to Nandi hills. If you have been to Nandi Hills then you must be knowing that one can drive till the hill top. Then why trekking??? This trekking path will offer you completely different view which is not available from the top of Nandi Hills. The trek starts from backside of the paved road. The trek is very well carved stepped path. Throughout the trek is green and scenic. If you are not used to steps then you might find it hectic, take rest in between. This is best trekking path if you are beginner or with kids. My 8 year son completed the trek without getting tired.
