You will have very limited hotel options in Scotland. So it is advisable to stay in homely environment where you can enjoy the culture and real traditional food they eat and cook for you too :).   Place : Coorg, Karnataka Distance from Bangalore : 260 km Place we stayed :    The last resort, It is a Home stay. have around 3-4 rooms only. As name says this is last building in that road inside coffee plantation. All have a bit of south indian flavour but food is really tasty and have very good home made flavour. we liked food a lot. I wanted to have a good trip before i start my office full time, but we could not have it, as everybody was quite concern about Tatva. Year 2013: this year was very important and critical for us. I grew in various field of life. Emotionally : This year I lived very critical role of our life which is parent hood and I realized that it is very difficult job. This role really changed my view towards my mom. I really salute all the moms who raised kids like us, considering the fact that they did not had all the support I have to raise Tatva. I gained a  lot of patience this year. A child can force you to learn things what your parents/husband can't. Place : Hibbani Village Distance from Bangalore :  120 Km Resort we stayed : Georgia Sunshine Village.  http://www.georgiasunshine.com/index.html                                           Very beautiful resort. well maintain and beautifully arranged. a very sweet couple runs it. Highly recommendable from my side. Weather is exactly like bangalore, so if it is hot in bangalore it will be hot in resort also. Food : Food is awesome there. I never had so delicious food in any resort. Activity :   You will be offered morning walk and evening fun-fishing. There are so many games available like carom, TT, foos-ball, badminton, Volleyball etc. There is swimming pool also, if you want to enjoy. All activities are free of cost. Just 7 days back I came back from mysore-ooty-coonoor trip with my parents. I never thought that Amber will ask me to go out for this long weekend. My sweetu is always more sweeter than I think. we planned to go somewhere close by area. within 3 hour drive. then

Place : Yelagiri, Tamil nadu Distance from Bangalore : 165 Km Resort we stayed : Zeenat Taj Garden resorts                               They do not have any website for their resort but you can easily search them on net. Rooms are good and met all my expectation. Very big garden, with mango, tamarind, rose apple, guava etc etc trees. Very well maintained, spacious resorts. Activity : Various indoor and outdoor activities. and enough space to pay around. Food : Andra style food. Good and tasty especially non-veg. They do not have any menu system. Additional note : There is nothing much outside to visit in terms of site seen. so 1 night trip is enough. Day 1 : Due to late night sleep, amber was sleeping till 10.30 AM. We were suppose to start by 9 AM. I was confused weather we will make it or not. He woke up and said we are leaving in 30 min, is everything ready. How on the earth he can think that I will get everything ready when I am not even sure we will go or not.   

Place - Coonoor Distance from bangalore - 300 Km Resort we stayed : http://www.bisoncountry.in/Home.html     Very nice place to stay, beautiful view from the rooms. Tariff is also very reasonable. Very nice food, but they only provide only breakfast and dinner. will recommend everyone for stay. Activities : Multiple indoor and outdoor games. Animals  - Jungle foul(teetar), duck, rabbits, hens. (Kids and enjoy) We were just back from our Europe trip and we had a long weekend. And we decided to go to coonoor this time. I said to amber that we have already been to ooty 3 times then why we are planning to go to coonoor because this is almost the same place and only 15 km far from Ooty. But who listen to their wife. :)                           Second challenge I had was to adjust the oncall. But after my long europe trip i dont want to ask for any oncall changes.
