Marriage in Bihar

I attended Munna bhaiya's marriage at Piro(4 hour drive from patna) on 5th May. I wrote some the blog during the marriage. I will take you directly there.  6th May :  It is 3 am of 6th may in morning, marriage is yet not started which is suppose to be on 5th May; and I am not sleepy at all. Because whatever is happening here is beyond my imagination, I could not believe this can happen in real life. The marriage is not started because the groom left the place because he was not treated properly, and we are sitting here without groom. I should not say this but I am really very very excited to see what will happen next. Its all filmy for me and I am felling that I am a side actor of it. around 3.30 AM we also came out of the house as we are also leaving to annoy bride side. But the most important thing i can observe is, the bride side is concern but they do not look sad. May be I am wrong.                           Bride's brother and some relative went to convince Munna Bhaiy

Coorg

Place : Coorg Distance from bangalore : 250 Km Resort we stayed :  http://www.porcupinecastle.com                               Very nice, beautiful and well maintained resort. On the hill top. awesome view. Bit costly than the other resort but worth staying. Food is good.  rooms are nice view from room is also good. Activities : You can have tour of tea and coffee plantation. That is changed service.  You can go for a trek. The plan for Coorg trip was initiated by Ravneet, she was very excited about this outing because we never had any trip together. She told that she has some contact in Coorg and she can make booking for us. We all were fine with this plan but  because of one or another reason we postponed the trip 2 times. First week of april was a long weekend and we decided to go on this weekend. Per kismat mai kuch aur hi tha. The trip was almost finalized, and we came to know that because of some unavoidable reasons Ravneet and Manoj could not join us.  Amber was also

Jaipur Campus tour

Image
I traveled to Jaipur for a campus from Yahoo to MNIT Jaipur. This was my first campus trip and for Yahoo it was first trip to MNIT. I bet that i was more excited than any of MNIT student. But as usual I tried my best to hide that excitement(As much as I could). The respect from each student, get addressed as mam-mam, checking papers and inspecting lab assignment, taking interviews was very different and great feeling. Its lovely to see curiosity, excitement, fear, affection(for Yahoo!) in student eyes. As you all know that Jaipur also called as pink city.  After seeing this picture you will come to know 'why', because all the houses and shops are painted in pink color. After campus, next day we covered tourist places around the city, we covered Hawa mahal, city palace, Jantar mantar, Amber palace, Jaighar fort and chauki daani(Rajsthani village). The best about jaipur is their streets; Streets are wide, clean and most important no traffic. And street market is just awesome, I

Thailand trip in Dec 2010

Thailand : Thailand trip was a royal trip for me. Staying at Mariott, having lunch/dinner at extravagant hotels and enjoying like I am on top of world. Simply put, I loved Thailand.  We covered phi-phi islands, Maya Bay, Phuket beaches- Surin and  patong,  FantaSea show at Phuket and Grand Palace ,  Siam shopping mall at Bangkok. Everything was perfect - From hotel, food, locations, clothes, Amber's new sunglasses (:)), jewelry to lipstick. Phuket  is extremely beautiful; Sea water is clean and crystal clear. We reached on 22nd morning and extended our stay till 25th evening. Loved snorkeling, playing in water, relaxing under sun. This time snorkeling was different because unlike Andamaan, we were independent to snorkel, there was no restriction on place and time to snorkel. They gave us life jackets(because we didn't know swimming) and equipments. Initially, we were dismayed - how we will do snorkeling without a guide, the boat-man laughed loud and told we will be here in boa

My love

Don't consider it my personal experience,  but from all the poems i wrote, i love this most.

Hogenakkal Fall : A one day trip with 2 Israelis (Anastasya & Efrat - my husband’s colleagues)   to Hogenakkal fall 180 km from Bangalore. Where we survived a fatal accident, or met a very bad accident, I don’t know which one is better phrase. But yes, that’s true and I am still scared of driving fast .               I had my first “fried fish” here and that was truly delicious. Every place was scenic, having a panoramic beauty. 2-hours long coracle ride remains the unparalleled experience of the trip. The sailor performed some interesting stunts with the boat. First, he took the boat below the water fall and held it there till we were fully drenched, another superb stunt was rotating the boat in round and round fashion, damn scary and truly a “paisa wasul” experience. 180 degree panorama view coracle boats at hogenakkal Bandipur/Masinagudi/Ooty : Bandipur is National forest reserve, once an abode to the bandit Veerappan. Here again I had some memorable exper
